- About the speaker
- Anne-Sophie joined Société Générale in 2017 as the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Program Director. Her initial mission focused on harmonizing taxonomy and GRC processes across all risk dimensions and Business Units within the AMER Regions. This initiative encompasses 24 critical processes, including Issue & Events Management, Third Party Risk Management, and Data Management. As her role evolved, she directed efforts towards the automation of these processes, particularly in the governance, calculation, and reporting of Key Risk Indicators, which are presented in various Committees. Currently, Anne-Sophie oversees over 200 modules and 20,000 data elements, and currently focuses in emphasizing integrated reporting and the interconnection of various end-to-end programs to proactively manage risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Driven by a passion for innovation and emerging technologies, she actively leverages Artificial Intelligence to enhance data quality and deliver comprehensive reporting for informed decision-making. Before joining Société Générale, Anne-Sophie held multiple roles at AIG, where she worked across all three lines of defense in the EMEA and AMER Regions. A native of France, she holds an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification and a bachelor's degree in Financial Audit.
