About the speaker
Robin is a pioneering leader in AI and analytics at Wells Fargo, where he enables a community of over 27,000 data scientists, analysts, engineers, and BI professionals. He leads the development of 49+ cutting-edge AI and analytics products and was instrumental in establishing the bank’s AI foundations. His work has delivered significant business impact, including the development and deployment of ML and NLP models. Among his key innovations, Robin built Casey, Wells Fargo’s AI-powered chatbot, which delivers self-service support to the entire data and analytics community—resolving thousands of monthly issues and dramatically improving productivity. He also built the Agentic AI framework for the Enterprise Data Management and Governance organization enabling intelligent automation in data quality, lineage and compliance workflows. Prior to Wells Fargo, Robin led the Cognitive Computing Center of Competence at IBM and held senior roles at eBay and PayPal, where he advanced enterprise collaboration and analytics platforms. Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computing from London Metropolitan University, a PhD in Mathematics from London Guildhall University, and has completed the Executive AI program at MIT Sloan School of Management. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Robin enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughters, and unwinds with basketball, chess, ping pong, and playing keyboards.
